Μετα την τελευταία μου εμπειρία μαζί σας το ελάχιστο που αποκομισα ηταν μια μεγαλη απογοητευση με αισθηση οτι λογω καταστασεων και πιεσης χρονου στο αεροδρομιο με εξαπατησατε κανονικα
A total scam! DO NOT RENT HERE!!! On February 5 2025 I rented a car (supposedly a Hyundai 10) through booking.com. My flight landed at 11pm, I was at the Avis counter around 11.30. The employee gave me the keys for a Fiat 500 and told me to take pictures of the car before starting it because it had some damages and send them to their email address. I arrived at the parking lot (it's like a 10 minutes walk from the airport), found the car (they don't tell you the parking number... you gotta find it yourself!), took pictures of the huge scratches it had (see attached pictures) and sent them right away. I used the car for a week and returned it on February 12 around 3am as planned with them, then dropped the keys off at their drop off box inside the airport. Took my flight to Frankfurt and while boarding from there to San Francisco they sent me an email saying that I damaged the car and they already charged me 1555usd for the damage. I had to call my bank and dispute the charge and also sent them again the pictures I took. Finally they answered me saying they are gonna refund me... in 20 business days... I'm glad I took pictures otherwise I'd be scammed by these thieves. Still waiting for the refund btw. Hope this is helpful! Update 02/20/2025: the company refunded me part of the amount, keeping 33usd... I wonder how much money these scumbags do per year doing this scam, pretending to refund you and keeping a small amount (compared to the whole sum). Being the office in an international airport, I suppose they found a great way to make money illegally. I proceeded to dispute the lacking amount with my bank in the US. Update 02/21/2025: after disputing the remaining amount with my bank, I have been fully refunded. Very bad experience. Update 03/17/2025: the remaining 60+dollars were refunded by my bank, not by Avis. I just realized that, so basically they kept those money and will deal with my bank now.
Fuyez ! Réservation d’une Fiat 500 le 04/09 dans un état catastrophique (rayures, chocs, peinture, etc.). Au retour, facture de 550 € supplémentaires pour des chocs. Heureusement, des photos et vidéos ont été faites avant. Premièrement, personne ne fait l’état des lieux avec vous. Évidemment, la voiture est garée dans un parking sombre, plus simple pour ne pas voir les défauts. Bizarrement, au retour, ce ne sont pas les grosses rayures ou défauts qui sont signalés, mais les plus subtils, pas forcément visibles dans le parking (sauf au flash). Heureusement, en plus de la contestation, j’ai souscrit une assurance extérieure qui va me rembourser. Je pense que toutes les personnes n’ayant pas souscrit d’assurance directement chez Avis auront le même problème. Alors, si vous voulez passer de bonnes vacances, fuyez cette agence.

Pessima esperienza con AVIS a Bologna: al ritiro mi è stata assegnata una Fiat 600, che non corrispondeva alla categoria prenotata. L'operatore è stato scortese e non ha fornito chiarimenti. La vettura aveva un danno da parcheggio non segnalato, e ho dovuto aprire una pratica online per comunicare il problema. Inoltre, il bagagliaio dava un falso segnale di apertura, segno di altri difetti. Infine, mi è stata addebitata una "cauzione" nonostante avessi già pagato con assicurazione Kasko, cosa mai accaduta in precedenti noleggi con AVIS all'estero. Servizio clienti inesistente e non professionale. Sconsiglio vivamente questa location. - In risposta alla vostra rishiesta di contatto: Ho provveduto prima di lasciare la review a contattare il vostro "Customer service" sia telefonicamente che a mezzo e mail - ad oggi 4 giorni dopo, non ho ancora ricevuto ne risposta ne riscontro di ricezione delle mie email (...) I had a terrible experience with AVIS in Bologna: upon picking up the car, I was given a Fiat 600 that didn’t match the category I had booked. The agent was rude and didn’t provide any clarifications. The car had an existing parking damage that I couldn’t report, so I had to open an online claim. Additionally, the trunk gave a false opening signal, indicating other issues with the vehicle. To top it off, I was charged a "deposit" despite already paying in full with Kasko insurance, which has never happened in my previous rentals with AVIS abroad. The customer service was nonexistent and unprofessional. I highly recommend avoiding this location. - In response to your contact request: Before leaving the review, I contacted your "Customer Service" both by phone and email. As of today, 4 days later, I have still not received any reply or acknowledgment of my emails (...).
Was nervous about this place given reviews but we had 0 issues. We collected car from Arezzo and dropped off at Bologna airport. We were greeted very quickly and were told no extra charges despite dropping off 1.5 hours later than previously scheduled Great service
