Sombrero Bologna

It was our first night in Bologna, we were tired, and we wanted a quick bite to eat. My husband is Mexican and loves to see what people around the globe do with his cuisine. We saw Sombrero and headed straight there! It was quiet when we arrived, which truly was unfortunate because everything about this place - the people, the atmosphere, and especially the food - was wonderful. We started with the red jalapeños and chili nachos and both were just incredible. And the guacamole, oh my god. It was so fresh but I should definitely expect that in Bologna. My son ordered the grilled chicken burger and fries and it looked wonderful. My son was very happy with it and very full. My husband and I both got variations of a rice dish (I can’t remember the name, sorry) and it was delicious. The owner, who was very welcoming and kind, even made sure I got enough vegetables with my food. We also got tacos which were TO. DIE. FOR. So incredibly delightful. I was so full I could hardly walk when we left. What a lovely meal. I feel like Mexican food has been ruined for me though because now, I know the very best Mexican food is right here at Sombrero in Bologna, Italy! Thank you for the incredible food! We tried the quesadillas and the burrito, just sensational!! I'm hungry again by seeing the pics. Friendly, great food and good prices. The place had 5 small tables, so keep that in mind when going there. Spicy is an option, you tell them the way you prefer.

Amazing Mexican place in Bologna! One of the best quesadillas i have had in a while! The owners are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this cute spot if you are in the area 🙂

Small restaurant. Mostly for food to go away. " Simple and efficient ". The price is reasonable. The food has good taste but nothing marvelous. We sometimes tend to exaggerate the appreciation because there are spices that we do not use to cook all the time.

Jag provade stället för en lunch och provade deras tacos. Inget jag ringer hem och berättar om.. Väldigt mediokert och kommer inte åka ett extra varv för att komma tillbaka.

Locale molto piccolo ma molto familiare, frequentato da studenti, famiglie, lavoratori in cerca di buon cibo messicano ad un prezzo onesto. La sua locatio. è ottima, posta in una porta strategica sia per il centro, giardini margherita ecc. Frequentatissima di studenti.
