Itala - Italian Language Courses Bologna

I had such a great time during my Italian course with Lisa! The lessons were not only fun but also very informative. Lisa is an excellent teacher—patient, encouraging, and always well-prepared. I learned so much in a short amount of time and felt more confident speaking Italian after each class. The atmosphere was relaxed, which made it easy to ask questions and stay engaged. I’m really grateful for this experience and would highly recommend her course to anyone interested in learning Italian

Joining Lisa’s classes was the best thing I did as an exchange student in Bologna! It was the perfect way to immerse myself into the culture - I fell in love with the language and Lisa’s lessons were always so fun and engaging! Not only this but I made international friends for life which made my time in Bologna. I couldn’t recommend her classes enough, they’re one of the things I will miss most about Bologna ❤️ thank you Lisa!!!

I couldn’t recommend an Italian school more than I do this one. Lisa is a phenomenal teacher who really prioritises her students and making sure they’re not only learning but making progress too. She manages to provide the perfect balance of fun and seriousness to her classes and I can’t believe the amount I learned in such a short time! With every lesson, I really felt more and more comfortable and confident in my Italian and I must thank Lisa for that! If you’re thinking of learning Italian in Bologna, this is the place to do so!!

I took the B1 classes for a month and they have really helped my Italian progress. Prior to this I have taken university classes but often found them very formal with little priority given to actually speaking and using the language, instead just drilling grammar exercises. Through Lisa’s classes you will have the opportunity to practice in a fun and lighthearted environment. You will still learn grammar, but that is not the only focus! The emphasis was always placed on producing the language and expressing yourself first. This has really helped develop my spoken and informal Italian. The Conversation Club was also a great way to meet new people whilst practicing Italian with others at a similar level to you. Very much worth the price, I wish I had done the classes for my entire time in Bologna and not just the last month!

This is such a great program! Lisa is a fantastic teacher and her method for getting you speaking italian quickly and confidently has worked so well for me. In addition, the conversation topics are interesting and relevant, great for adult learners. I really enjoyed my time here!

I was really fortunate to find this school. Lisa is an excellent and understanding teacher, who will help you out irregardless of what you’re struggling with. I met many lovely people here through classes and conversation club which really helped with my Erasmus experience. My Italian skills improved a lot too! I’ve taken Italian classes at several different schools and can safely say Lisa is the best teacher I’ve had! The classes are fun and engaging with a big emphasis on speaking/chatting, but always with grammatical topic in mind. Couldn’t recommend more highly
