Awestruck by the amazing food in Bologna! We had a fantastic evening with our guide Mattia and our group enjoying the amazing spots with delicious authentic food (and wine) from the region. It was well paced and Mattia had great knowledge of the cuisine and nuances of the food, wine, and locals — being a local himself. Would totally recommend this intimate tour for couples and friends for socializing and learning about the regional food culture and specialities. Thanks Delicious Bologna for a wonderful experience!

We took the evening food tour experience in Bologna with Mattia and really enjoyed the experience. Being a local, Mattia’s passion for the city and its food was infectious. He led our small group through the different areas of Bologna stopping at places steeped in history to sample delicacies well known to the area while learning about the facts and myths of each stop - finishing with a delicious dinner. It was a truly enjoyable evening and highly recommended Mattia also followed with a list of suggestions for our remaining days in Bologna - well done indeed!

I‘ve done plenty of food tours, this was definitely one of the best. Mattia is awesome, very friendly and makes sure everyone gets the most out of the tour. Great food and also very good wine selection. Will book again when back in Bologna.

We booked the Daylight food walking tour which was fabulous! Mattia is a wonderful guide, full of knowledge and passion for his city and the food of the region. We walked away with wonderful memories, a new appreciation of pasta and how it is made and very full stomachs! It was an absolute treat to spend the day in Bologna. I was referred to Mattia and Delicious Bologna as being the best in the business and they were not wrong. I have done food tours all over the world and this was up there as one of the very best!

I’m not a foodie but I’m not just in Italy, I’m in Bologna so I have to do a food tour. I am so glad I picked this one! Mattia was so much fun and the food and wine were beyond delicious. I also learned a lot of how Italy jealously protects the purity of their food and letters to look for, such as DOP. Mattia joked that Italy exports what isn’t the best so I think this is a ruse to get us to come back just for the food . I would highly recommend this tour

One of the best food tours we have been on. 100% would recommend 10/10 times. Mattia was awesome! LOTS of food and wine!! Do not hesitate - book it and have fun! **I would recommend booking early in your trip to take advantage of the recommendations sent after the tour. My wife and I visited several bars, restaurants, and cafes and all were excellent!
