I Hired Luigi back in 2021, after doing some research online. Luigi not only accepted my 1948 case, but his guidance extended to sharing specific details about paperwork required from my country of origin. Unsuccessful Application: I used Luigi Paiano unsuccessfully to apply for Italian citizenship via my maternal line. My grandmother was born in the US when my great-grandmother was an Italian citizen, but she became an American citizen when my grandmother was still a minor. Luigi advised me that my chances of obtaining Italian citizenship were very good. I was declined in both the lower court and appeals court. So a word of warning...it is a time consuming and expensive process. The Italian court is now rejecting at least some applications via the maternal line, advising that minors lose their citizenship by default. It appears to be a combination of luck and what judge you get, knowing that the same judge may later change his/her mind.

O Dr Luigi nos orientou, conseguiu um despachante que foi capaz de extrair a certidão de nascimento de nosso antepassado na commune na Itália, nos orientou nas necessidades de documentos no Brasil, e conduziu todo o processo na Itália. Sim, tivemos nossas dificuldades e ansiedades no meio do caminho (uma crise de refugiados, uma onda de COVID) que atrasaram as coisas muito; mas em 2021 conseguimos nossa sentença, e em 2022 nossos passaportes. Hoje somos 8 pessoas no Brasil e Canadá, de três gerações, com cidadania italiana. Obrigado Dr Luigi!

This week, I received word from Mr. Paiano's office that I had obtained a positive decision in my Court of Rome case for Italian citizenship. Now I just have to receive from Mr. Paiano the registration documentation from the Sicilian government office, register at an Italian Consulate in the US, which issues my Italian passport, and I'm an Italian citizen! BRAVO, LUIGI PAIANO! He has been a professional through and through and got the results I was seeking: obtaining Italian citizenship. He promptly answered my emails and continues to correspond with me, as does his staff who are keeping me posted on obtaining the final documentation from the Italian government. Si estas dudando igual que yo como hace 2 años atras te digo dale para adelante con Luigi, uno busca referencias por intenet, redes, etc. y di con la persona correcta. Mi proceso duro en total 2 años con pasaporte en mano y desde que Luigi hizo la presentación hasta el juicio favorable pasaron unos 9 meses, tuve la suerte que se dio todo rápido. Obviamente consulte con otros abogados y cada uno tiene sus formas, otros me pedían miles de papeles, agregar integrantes familiares que no eran necesarios, etc. Luigi te pide lo justo y necesario, nada de mas ni necesidad de hacer gastos superiores.
