Combo, Bologna

Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται μέσα σ ένα παρκακι, με πολύ ησυχία.||Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό και βολικό.||Το προσωπικό ευγενικό και διαθέσιμο.||Πολύ κοντά σε στάση λεοφωρειου που σε πηγαίνει στο κέντρο ή στον σταθμό τρένου.||Το πρωινό αρκετό και καλής ποιότητας.||Θα ξαναπήγαινα ευχαρίστως.

Μοντέρνο όμορφο τεράστιο ξενοδοχείο λίγο έξω από το κέντρο, όμως εύκολα προσβάσιμο από το ιστορικό κέντρο της Μπολόνια με το λεωφορείο Νο 30. Πολύ μεγάλη κουζίνα και ευρύχωροι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι. Πολύ καλή εξυπηρέτηση από τους υπαλλήλους. Οι περισσότεροι πελάτες είναι νέοι!

Το πιο ωραιο hostel που εχω βρεθει. Πολυ ωραιο περιβαλλον, καθαρο, που παραλληλα διοργανωνονται και διαφορα ενδιαφεροντα event. Το μονο ισως μειονεκτημα ειναι οι τιμες που αντιστοιχουν πιο πολυ σε ξενοδοχειο.

Ostello piacevole. Camere pulite, la mia aveva 4 letti e bagno in camera. Aperti 24h su 24h. Possibilità di fare colazione all'interno della struttura. Enormi cucine al piano inferiore. Grazie!

I was planning to stay just under a week at Combo at the end of July 2024. The heat was pretty extreme, even for someone from Australia, and the 20min walk in direct sun to get there from the station was pretty brutal. However, it didn't end there. My shared dorm room was boiling as it was on the top floor, so I asked my roommates why they didn't have the AC on. Turns out, they did, and it was hardly making any difference. It was a small AC unit mounted on the wall furthest away from the beds, and it wasn't blowing much cold air at all (even though it was showing 18ºC + full fan on the control). I asked reception to fix it, and they said they adjusted the settings to make it cooler, but it didn't make a noticeable difference. Opening the window was actually more effective but still too warm, plus noise. After still being hot after a cold shower + draping wet towels over my body, I ended up grabbing my blanket + pillow and sleeping in a conference room on the ground level which was actually cool.||Checked out the next morning and went to stay at a hotel that actually had proper AC.||I know Europeans and Aussies have different views on AC, but in my opinion a quality AC unit that can actually cool down a room to an acceptable temperature is a *must* for somewhere like this in the summer. I don't think the units in the top floor rooms are powerful enough, and a boiling room is not healthy at all.||In comparison, I stayed at a Yellowsquare hostel in Milan and the AC worked beautifully—the room was nice and cool.||I'd recommend not staying here in summer and staying on the ground floor at a minimum. Also worth noting there is a train line right next to it. The lawn / umbrellas area is nice though!
